On January 31 in the The Republican Center for Children and Youth took place the second event of the joint project of NARGIS Publishing house and Ecoclubs within the movement Yaşıl Şəbəkə ("The Green network"), functioning under The Republican Center for Children and Youth of the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic.
The event was attended by the NARGIS team headed by Editor-in-Chief Ulviyya Makhmudova, Director of the Republican Center for Children and Youth Firuza Sultanzade, representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic, sculptor Rashad Alekperov and others.
The guests were welcomed by Firuza Sultanzade, who told the children about the importance of waste categorisation and its impact on people and the environment.
The director of the magazine Ayten Huseynova introduced the participants to the activities of the magazine, told about the exhibition Make the Earth Smile and informed children about the rules of participation in the competition.
The culmination of the evening was a master class from artist Rashad Alekperov. During his speech the artist spoke about the major environmental problems,the possibility of turning waste into art, and also answered interesting questions of schoolchildren.
After completing the master class, the editor-in-chief of NARGIS Ulviyya Makhmudova got acquainted with the activities of the Republican Center for Children and Youth.
