This year’s Met Gala theme was ’Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’. It’s quit a challenge to combine high jewellery with this style, as it’s not about gowns and loud glam. Happy to see how celebrities did it. Some of them decided to dress many huge diamonds and bounce of watches at once, whilst for someone, it’s enough to dress magnifying glass.

Bahamian professional basketball player for the New York Liberty WNBA team and four-time WNBA All-Star, Jonquel Jones, was seen wearing the Hublot Big Bang Original Steel White Pave 38mm while attending the Met Gala 2025 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 5, 2025, in New York City. Jonquel rocked the most creative kind of outfits, especially her jewellery hair- dressing.
Cartier
Many pf global talents were dressed in beloved Cartier. Rihanna, who is expecting her 3thd baby, dazzled the red carpet with a high jewelry watch and pendant in 18k white gold and diamonds. The creation is a combination of jewelry and watchmaking that meets the highest standards of excellence, the design conveys the preciousness of time. The composition plays on the pure rhythms of recurring motifs, culminating in an enchantingly lustrous 10.36-carat pear- shaped diamond. Placed above the pendant, the watch ideally embraces the lines of the necklace with its octagonal case. Pivoting so as to conceal the time from the view of others, it seems to symbolize the intimacy of moments kept for oneself. On the back, the jewelers have placed a 3.52-carat diamond that gracefully blends in with the elongated aesthetic of the pendant. In keeping with Cartier’s tradition of convertible jewelry, the watch and the back segment of the chain can both be detached to form a bracelet watch while transforming the sautoir necklace into a shorter piece. Both can be worn simultaneously for a stylish look. The creation was paired with a Cartier Collection watch brooch from 1925.
Miley Cyrus wore a Cartier Collection necklace, often referred to as the Africa, in 18k yellow gold and white gold. She paired the creation with Love earrings and a Cartier Collection ring in 18k yellow gold, tsavorite garnets and onyx.
Isha Ambani wore a breathtaking Cartier necklace from her personal collection. A 481-carat cascade of diamonds inspired by a legendary diamond necklace Jacques Cartier designed in 1931 for India’s Maharaja of Nawanagar. In the 2018 film Ocean’s 8, the historic necklace was the centrepiece of a heist that took place at the Met; a prop version of the famous piece was created for use in the film.
Bulgari
K-pop girl gang Blackpink’s Lisa makes her debut in Bulgari. Lisa stunned in Bulgari jewellery. Her pearl and gold waist chain, in particular, added a bold note into elegance.
Another magnificent Bulgari necklace took centre stage in Anne Hathaway’s look—a breathtaking statement piece featuring a giant rectangular sapphire framed by sparkling diamonds.
Priyanka Chopra Bulgari necklace featured a 241.06 carat emerald centre stone. This extraordinary jewel, part of Bulgari’s forthcoming Polychroma High Jewelry collection, was paired with matching Bulgari diamond earrings and an emerald-and-diamond cocktail ring by the actor.
